City Food – The Bangalore Brunch Affair

Bangalore – A lazy, comfortable, laid back city perfect for brunches.

Here are a few places you would want to visit either for food or just to sip on some beer / sangria and enjoy the much talked about Bangalorean weather….

1. Cafe Max

A German cafe sitting on top of Max Muller Bhavan on CMH Road, Indiranagar

As most of the good places in Bangalore, this too is an open air restaurant with an additional benefit of serving white wine sangria and sooper Philadelphia Cheesecake.

2. Truffles Ice N Spice

Popularly recalled for its burgers and breakfast menu this place has two known branches – 5th Block Koramangla & St.Marks road

If you like MEAT and want most of it on one plate then try out their London Mix Grill. The FORMULA X – Sugar and spice and everything nice! Chicken patty in gravy, sausages, ham, sunny side up egg, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, fresh veggies and order for some potato chips as well while you are at it!

3. Om Made Cafe

A lot of you must have heard about the one in Goa. Yes it has an outlet in Koramangla, Bangalore too.

I was excited too but the food turned out to be just about ok as compared to the serene terrace top ambiance of the place. Eggs Benedict not as flavorful as I would have liked them to be. But a nice place to relax.

4. Hole in the wall

This small little place in Koramangla is all about all day breakfast menu! And the portions tell us that they love feeding you 🙂 This wholesome plate of American breakfast makes you feel like a king.

5. Red Fork

Roaming on Indiranagar 12th main, you might miss out on this small place right next to the more popular Daddy’s Deli. This place like the next on the list is not for the cholesterol conscious ones. Look at that piece of juicy pork chops with caramelized onions served with mashed potatoes.

This place has a lot more to offer *slurp*

6. The Only Place

Giving you a feel of the good old Bangalore is The Only Place restaurant. This restaurant is so loved by the meat eaters that a few got highly tensed when there was a rumor about it getting shut down.

Luckily, now we have two of these outlets – 6th main Indiranagar & Church Street.

Big ass burgers to huge ass steaks, you name it they got it. But no pork 😦
